I did not set out to become an Advocate. I just could not ignore Jerry.
He was my neighbor — a veteran, widower, and child-free. Kind, quiet, always thankful, but behind closed doors, he was slipping through the cracks: unopened mail, missed appointments, food expired or left out too long. I saw it, and I could not walk past it.
At first, it was small things: rides to the doctor, grocery shopping, phone calls he could not make. But as time went on, it became something deeper — advocating for his care that started with his medication.
One day, when Jerry was not feeling well, I asked to see his medication. He put 13 prescription bottles on the counter and a multi-vitamin.
To my horror, Jerry was taking 2 pills per day from each bottle. That added up to 27 pills per day — that is 189 pills per week and 837 pills per month!
My first thought was: #$@%!& — this cannot be real. This cannot be right. and at that very moment, I became a seniors advocate.
I stepped in—every doctor’s visit, every hospital stay, every time others would not. I stood beside him—interrupting spam calls, paying bills on time, keeping his fridge full—when no one else did. I even took him out every year on his birthday for a slice of his favorite dessert. I supported Jerry for twelve years, not because I had to because he mattered.
Over the years, I learned every senior we fight for is someone’s Jerry. There are thousands of seniors like him — aging alone, falling through the cracks, and facing mistreatment by people they know and trust.
Today, we stand for seniors like Jerry. This work is not about numbers. It is about names. It is about making sure no senior goes unheard, unseen, or uncared for — ever again.
Every hour, hundreds of seniors suffer one of the most common forms of mistreatment, often by self-neglect or caregiver failure
According to AARP, seniors age 65 and older experienced some form of physical, emotional or financial abuse by someone they know
The FBI’s report shows in 2024 seniors lost billions in money and property to scams, fraud, and financial exploitation
Why we are separating (the nonprofit) from (the business): The word nonprofit does not mean broke. No organization can run on passion, purpose, and no profit, so we are intentionally building a dual-engine nonprofit business: one side protects people, the other funds the mission. The nonprofit side is mission-driven and only answers to the seniors we serve. The business side will operate similar to a for-profit, focusing on funding, sustainability, and scaling impact.
This is not a top-down model. It is a circular structure where everything surrounds and serves the senior—not the executive branch, not the board, and not the bottom line. Every decision, dollar, and action revolves around restoring dignity, demanding accountability, and delivering results for those most often overlooked.
We help seniors report mistreatment, access benefits, and apply for:
Safe, reliable rides prevent missed care and reduce the risk of neglect
Licensed counseling is a lifeline for seniors facing emotional abuse
Digital protection helps stop fraud before seniors become victims
Legal planning keeps seniors’ wishes honored and protects their assets

Program: Chef Meals at Home
The Purpose: End nutrition neglect
Seniors Served: 40
Malnutrition affects nearly 5 million seniors in the U.S., yet it often goes unnoticed. Many seniors face barriers like limited mobility, chronic illness, or cognitive decline that make grocery shopping difficult or impossible. For others, the physical and emotional stress of shopping alone leads to skipped meals or unhealthy choices.
These challenges create a silent crisis—one that demands immediate attention and action.
Our "40 Seniors / 40 Chef Meals" initiative brings chef-prepared, nutritious meals directly into the homes of seniors. By focusing on fresh, nutrient-dense ingredients tailored to individual dietary needs, the program promotes healthy eating, reduces malnutrition, and supports overall well-being.

Program: Quality of Life Check
Purpose: Uncover mistreatment
Seniors Served: 100+
According to the National Institute on Aging, one in four seniors experiences social isolation, which can increase their risk of premature death by nearly 30%. Add undetected malnutrition, untreated depression, or fear of speaking up—and suffering often stays hidden.
We focused on wellness assessment conducted by trained advocates who understand the subtle signs of decline, mistreatment, or silent suffering. We take the time to notice what others miss and act when something is not right.

Thanks to our donors, real change is happening.
So far in 2025, we have raised $7034 to support seniors facing neglect, abuse, and fraud.
Every dollar helps us respond faster, reach further, and protect those who are too often forgotten. Our donors are not just giving—they are closing the gap between distress and safety, one senior at a time.

Not all gifts come in dollars. Many come in the form of time, talent, and in-kind support. Thanks to platforms like Taproot Plus, legal experts, designers, tech developers, and other multi-generational professionals have already gifted over 6,000 volunteer hours.
These gifts turn compassion into action—allowing us to stretch resources, build smarter, and move faster without compromising the mission.
Their gift is their craft. Our mission is the impact. Together, we make both matter.
